Paweł Mej sets recycling record with 11,218 containers

Content creator Paweł Mej, known as ‘Bosy Biegacz’, has set a new personal record by returning 11,218 deposit-system containers to a recycling machine. The process, which took nearly 10 hours at a Lidl store in Bochnia, follows months of collecting bottles and cans during bicycle trips through villages in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.

The collection, which took place between May 8 and September 17, included 318 items provided by store customers. Mej intends to use the funds raised to support local community initiatives, including donating 770 PLN to the Volunteer Fire Department in Baczkow, 300 PLN to the Rural Housewives' Club in Baczkow, and providing sports equipment to the Adam Mickiewicz School Complex in Baczkow.
