Paweł Piskorz appointed sports director of Stal Gorzów

Stal Gorzów Paweł Piskorz speedway Polonia Piła sports management

Paweł Piskorz has been appointed as the new sports director and first-team manager for the speedway club Gezet Stal Gorzów. The 41-year-old professional will be responsible for the team's sporting operations, staff collaboration, and coordinating preparations for the 2027 season.

Piskorz joins Gorzów following his departure from Polonia Piła, where he had previously served as manager. Despite Polonia Piła's recent relegation from the Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga, Piskorz was credited with improving the club's image and building a competitive squad for the upcoming season in the Krajowa Liga Żużlowa.

The leadership change at Stal Gorzów is part of a broader organizational restructuring. In addition to Piskorz's appointment, the club is seeing the departure of long-time track official Jarosław Gała, Krzysztof Orzeł, and team manager Michał Kozdraś as the club seeks to implement new strategic directions.
