Paweł Waloszek Memorial speedway event set for Świętochłowice

The first Paweł Waloszek Memorial speedway event is scheduled to take place at the Skałka Stadium in Świętochłowice. The event serves as the official conclusion to the league season for Śląsk Świętochłowice and honors the legacy of Paweł Waloszek, a legendary speedway rider who represented Poland for over two decades and won a silver medal at the Individual World Championship in 1970.

In addition to honoring Waloszek, the memorial will pay tribute to other notable figures associated with Śląsk, including Jan Mucha, Jerzy Kochman, and Józef Jarmuła. The competition lineup has been further solidified with the addition of experienced rider Adrian Cyfer, who joins fifteen other confirmed participants. To determine the final spot in the main tournament, junior riders will compete in an additional qualifying heat.
