Pawłów hosts second memorial march for Michał Basa

The second memorial march in honor of Michał Basa was held on September 12, organized by the Municipal Public Library in Pawłów. The event brought together history enthusiasts and members of Basa's family, including his children and great-grandchildren.

The procession began at the cemetery in Tarczek, where participants laid flowers and lit candles at the grave of Sergeant Michał Basa. The route continued to the Cistercian Abbey in Wąchock, where participants honored Colonel Jan Piwnik 'Ponury' at the Pantheon of the Polish Underground State.

The march also included visits to sites related to General Marian Langiewicz and other regional historical landmarks. The event concluded with a forest cinema screening of the film 'Wykus – serce wolnej Polski' and a communal gathering.
