Pays de Fougères basket defeats Laval in Coupe de France

Pays de Fougères basket, known as the Blues Brothers, successfully advanced to the next round of the Coupe de France after defeating Laval in their first official match of the season on Tuesday, September 15.

The match, which was moved to Fougères' Justy-Specker venue due to arena availability in Laval, saw a competitive start with Laval leading early in the first quarter. However, Fougères regained momentum in the second half, led by a 20-point performance from Jubenot.

The victory marks a strong start to the season following a preparation period that included five friendly matches. While the team's coaching staff noted that the Coupe de France is not their primary priority, the win provides a positive competitive foundation for the new campaign.
