Paysandú renews vehicle fleet and machinery

The Intendencia de Paysandú has undertaken a major renewal of its vehicle fleet and heavy machinery to improve departmental services, specifically targeting rural road maintenance. The investment, totaling nearly one million dollars, includes the acquisition of trucks and other equipment to enhance road connectivity.

Martín Thomasset, Director of Administration, stated that this public tender represents the largest fleet renewal in the history of the Intendencia, involving more than 50 light vehicles. The initiative aims to provide safer transport for officials and increase operational efficiency. This investment is supported by an annual budget of approximately 100 million dollars, half of which is provided by the central government.
