Paysandu advances talks to sign Igor Henrique from Atlético-GO

Paysandu is advancing in negotiations to sign 34-year-old midfielder Igor Henrique from Atlético-GO. The move is intended to strengthen the squad for the decisive stages of the Brazilian Série C.

Negotiations have progressed positively, aided by the strong relationship between the presidents of both clubs, Márcio Tuma of Paysandu and Adson Batista of Atlético-GO. While other Série C clubs have expressed interest, Paysandu is reportedly the priority.

A final agreement is expected once Paysandu confirms its qualification for the quadrangular stage of the competition. Igor Henrique, who currently plays in Série B with Atlético-GO, has extensive experience in national competitions, having previously played for clubs such as Fortaleza, Vila Nova, and Guarani.
