Paysandu appoints Mazola Júnior and Ronny Silva to lead Série C campaign

Paysandu has appointed Mazola Júnior as the new head coach and brought back physical trainer Ronny Silva to lead the team during a critical period in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. The club currently sits at the bottom of Group C following losses to Brusque and Ferroviária.

Silva, making his fourth stint with the club, reunites with Mazola Júnior, with whom he previously worked during Paysandu’s successful promotion to Série B in 2014. Silva noted that he is accustomed to high-pressure situations, having managed both relegation battles and promotion campaigns throughout his career. The technical staff aims to secure an immediate reaction in their upcoming match against Inter de Limeira at the Curuzu stadium.
