Paysandu election to determine future of coach and executive

The future of coach Mazola Júnior and football executive Marcelo Sant’Ana at Paysandu remains uncertain, pending the results of the club's upcoming election on November 3. The decision regarding their roles for the 2027 season will rest with the newly elected administration.

Only one slate, ‘Papão da Curuzu’ (number 07), is registered for the election. Led by current president Márcio Tuma, the ticket includes Diego Moura and Ícaro Sereni as vice-presidential candidates. Although there are no opposing candidates for the Executive Board, the election is required to fulfill the club's institutional processes. The new management will be responsible for shaping the technical commission and administrative planning for the next biennium.
