Paysandu football club plans roster changes for Serie C

Paysandu announced a plan to adjust its squad ahead of the second half of Brazil's Serie C. Executive Marcelo Sant’Ana said the club will aim to add up to six players while also releasing, loaning or transferring out a similar number to maintain sporting balance and financial health. The changes are intended to build on the recent Copa Verde title and the team's three finals in four competitions, without increasing the total roster size. Although the official transfer window opens on 20 July, Paysandu hopes to complete some moves earlier, especially for players who may feature in the upcoming Serie D.

The focus remains on securing points in Serie C to ensure a comfortable league position, with the coaching staff concentrating on the current campaign while the front office prepares for the market activity.
