Paysandu posts R$5.5 million surplus for first half of 2026

Paysandu Sport Club closed the first half of 2026 with a financial surplus of R$5.5 million, reversing a cumulative loss of R$841.8 thousand recorded up to May. The June balance sheet shows revenue of R$12.45 million, a rise of more than 154 % compared with May’s R$4.9 million, while expenses grew 21 % to R$6.94 million. Cash holdings more than doubled, increasing from R$5.86 million in May to R$12.49 million in June. The professional football department and youth categories generated the bulk of income, accounting for R$11.56 million of the total revenue, highlighting football as the primary economic engine of the club.
