Paysandu president apologizes to supporter Pampam

Márcio Tuma, the president of the Brazilian football club Paysandu, has issued a public apology to Daniel Grisley, a supporter known as Pampam. The apology follows significant backlash from fans regarding previous comments made by Tuma.

Grisley, who has cerebral palsy, is a well-known figure among the club's supporters. Tuma stated on social media that his previous interview did not reflect his true feelings, noting that Grisley deserves “the utmost respect and admiration.”

As part of the reconciliation, Tuma confirmed that Grisley will return to his role of entering the field alongside the players during upcoming matches. Tuma also communicated his apologies directly to Grisley’s guardian, Erick Henrique.
