Paysandu signs defender Gustavo Henrique on loan

Paysandu has announced the signing of defender Gustavo Henrique on loan from Portuguesa. The 26-year-old center-back joins the club until the end of the Brazilian Série C season, with Paysandu assuming full responsibility for his salary.

Henrique, who has previous experience with clubs such as Bahia, Botafogo-SP, Sampaio Corrêa, CRB, and Caxias, has already been registered with the league and has begun training with his new teammates. He expressed readiness to debut, noting he feels in good physical condition despite recently playing in Série D. Paysandu currently sits in sixth place in Série C and is competing for a spot in the next phase of the tournament.
