Chapecoense and Atlético Nacional to play memorial match in Medellín

Chapecoense and Atlético Nacional will play a friendly match in Medellín, Colombia, on September 26 at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium. The match commemorates the tenth anniversary of the 2016 plane crash that killed 71 people, including the Chapecoense delegation. The event celebrates the bond of solidarity formed between the two clubs after Atlético Nacional requested that Chapecoense be declared the 2016 Copa Sudamericana champions.

The match also serves a charitable purpose, with a portion of the ticket proceeds being donated to assist victims of a recent earthquake in Colombia.
