Paysandu to field new offensive trio in Série C clash with Inter de Limeira

Ahead of their Sunday match at the Curuzu stadium, Paysandu coach Júnior Rocha is considering a line‑up that features a three‑striker formation for the first time this season. The proposed trio would pair goal‑scorer Ítalo Carvalho (13 goals) with Juninho (8) alongside Kleiton Pego (11), a combination that already accounts for more than half of the club’s 61 goals this year.

The match against Inter de Limeira, who sit seventh in the Série C table, also highlights the opponent’s roster of former Paysandu and Remo players, including Vidal, Juan Tavares, Gustavo Bochecha and others. Inter are aiming to secure their place in the competition’s top eight while Paysandu look to regain the league lead.
