Payton Westcott claims maiden F1 Academy victory at Zandvoort

Payton Westcott secured her maiden F1 Academy victory during the Reverse Grid Race at the Zandvoort Circuit. After qualifying ninth, Westcott was promoted to eighth following the disqualification of wild card Zoe Florescu for a technical regulation breach, which placed her on pole for the reverse grid start.

Westcott led the race from start to finish, successfully managing two Safety Car restarts and defending her position against pressure from Alba Larsen and Nina Gademan. Westcott expressed relief following the win, stating it was a personal goal to prove her capabilities after a season of varying results.

In the Feature Race, Alisha Palmowski claimed her fourth victory of the season. Palmowski set the fastest lap during a wet-to-dry qualifying session, finishing ahead of Larsen. Other notable performances included Esmee Kosterman, who earned her first season points with a fourth-place finish in the Reverse Grid Race.
