PB Djarum 2026 General Audition enters tournament stage in Kudus

The PB Djarum 2026 General Audition has entered its tournament stage at GOR Djarum in Kudus, with 576 athletes competing for ‘Super Tickets’ to advance to the quarantine phase. Talent scouts have noted an increase in the quality of male participants, with promising talent emerging from outside Java, including Kalimantan.

Beyond technical skills, scouts and coaches are placing heavy emphasis on character development. Aryono Miranat, a member of the talent scouting team, noted that attitude and how athletes handle match situations are critical. Leonard Holvy de Pauw, coordinator of men's singles coaches, emphasized that non-technical traits such as discipline, independence, and integrity are essential to prevent athletes from failing when they reach higher competitive levels or national training centers.

One notable participant is Keanu Al Fathir Rahadi, a U-12 player from Balikpapan, who secured a convincing victory in the opening day of the tournament.
