Příbram defeats HK Kralupy 4-2 in 2. liga season opener
Příbram defeated HK Kralupy 4-2 in their opening match of the 2. liga season. Despite playing without key defenders Němeček and David, Kralupy remained competitive throughout the game.
Kralupy responded quickly to Příbram's goals, with Marek Vlasák scoring the team's first goal of the season and Tomáš Bernat equalizing in the 49th minute. However, Příbram utilized their experience and power-play opportunities in the final stages to secure the win, with Bareš scoring a decisive goal in the 55th minute.
Coach David Švagrovský praised the performance of his players, particularly young defenders Jakub Válek and Richard Barninec, noting that while the team followed the game plan, a lack of finishing efficiency and Příbram's experience in critical moments decided the outcome.
