PBS app launches on LG Smart TVs

The PBS app is now available on select LG Smart TVs, providing users with access to live local station streams and thousands of on-demand episodes. The app is compatible with most 2022 and newer LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 or higher.

Through this partnership, viewers can access news, documentaries, dramas, and local programming. The app includes features such as the ability to save favorites and sync viewing progress across the PBS website and other PBS apps. It also supports navigation via the LG Magic Remote. This launch expands PBS's digital reach to millions of additional households across the United States.
