Lottery results: Jackpots roll over in Philippines and South Africa

Lottery draws in the Philippines and South Africa have resulted in several jackpot rollovers and winners across various games in early September 2026.

In the Philippines, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported no jackpot winners for the Ultra Lotto 6/58, Super Lotto 6/49, and Lotto 6/42 draws held on September 8. The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot, which stood at approximately ₱278.59 million, will roll over to the next draw. Minor games such as the 3D Lotto and 2D Lotto saw multiple winners across various time slots.

In South Africa, the PowerBall jackpot of R27 million rolled over for the fifth time after no player matched all five main numbers plus the PowerBall. However, the PowerBall Xtra jackpot was successfully claimed. The Daily Lotto draw on September 8 saw two players share the Division 1 prize, with each receiving R240,728. The Daily Lotto jackpot for the following day is estimated at R500,000.
