PD actions in Marche: Jesi road project dispute and new Macerata secretariat

In Jesi, the Democratic Party (PD) local secretary Filippo Bartolucci defended the Viale della Vittoria redesign, describing the stalled process as “like Penelope’s tapestry” and warning that the project will resume in autumn with new traffic lights. Opposition parties demanded the resignation of assessor Marguccio and called for clearer communication with citizens and merchants.

In the nearby city of Macerata, the newly elected PD secretary Mario Iesari announced the composition of his secretariat, naming Francesca Fermani, Alia Simoncini, Katia Soldini, Franco Forti, Alessia Scoccianti, Andrea Bertini, Riccardo Carota and Mattia di Marco. The team will focus on implementing the party’s program, strengthening local presence, and organizing the upcoming provincial Unity Festival on 19‑20 September.
