PDC lands multi‑year ESPN partnership to broadcast major darts tournaments in the US
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has signed a multi‑year broadcast agreement with ESPN, bringing five of the sport’s premier events to ESPN2 and ESPN+ for American audiences. The coverage begins with the US Darts Masters at Madison Square Garden and will include the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship.
PDC chief executive Matt Porter described the deal as a milestone in expanding darts globally, noting the United States as a strategically important market. The partnership is expected to raise the sport’s profile in the US, offering live, high‑visibility exposure that previously was limited to niche streaming services. By teaming with one of the world’s largest sports broadcasters, the PDC aims to attract new fans and players and further its ambition to grow darts worldwide.
