PDC World Darts Championship 2026‑27 Introduces Ticket Ballot and Expanded Great Hall Venue

The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has confirmed that the 2026/27 World Darts Championship will run from 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 at the Great Hall of Alexandra Palace in London. The move to the larger Great Hall raises spectator capacity to a record 180,000 tickets, up from the previous limit of about 3,200.

For the first time, tickets will be allocated through a two‑stage ballot system. PDCTV Annual Members can apply from 1 September to 7 September, while a general public ballot runs from 8 September to 14 September. Each applicant may submit one entry, and successful applicants will be notified by email in September.

The tournament will feature 128 players, with reigning champion Luke Littler defending his title. Notable changes include a Sunday final for the first time and a Christmas break from 24 December to 27 December. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.
