PDP alliances rally support in Ogun and Oyo for Nigeria's 2027 elections

In Ogun State, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate Oladipupo Adebutu received a strong endorsement from Yewa leaders and local youth groups, pledging to protect the integrity of votes and warning against any election rigging. Speakers highlighted Adebutu’s past contributions and urged voters to mobilise and defend their ballots.

In Oyo State, Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) senator Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo praised the strategic PDP‑APM alliance, commended Governor Seyi Makinde for fostering the partnership, and endorsed the APM governorship ticket of Bimbo Adekanmbi and deputy Muftau Open Salawu. He highlighted achievements in education, infrastructure, youth empowerment and security, and called the alliance a platform for inclusive governance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
