PDP launches 2027 election campaigns in Mopamuro and Ogun State

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has launched several campaign activities in preparation for the 2027 elections in Nigeria.

In Mopamuro Local Government Area, supporters held rallies for Seun Ibigbemi, the PDP candidate for the Yagba Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat. The movement, referred to as the ‘Mopamuro Lokan’ agenda, seeks to ensure the constituency secures its own representative in the National Assembly.

In Ogun State, the PDP flagged off its Ogun East Senatorial District campaign for Engr Abdul Hamid Femi Omotayo. The rallies, held in locations including Sagamu, Ijebu Igbo, and Ijebu Ode, featured PDP governorship candidate Oladipupo Adebutu and running mate Lateefat Kolapo Sowunmi. Omotayo pledged to focus on infrastructure development and equitable resource distribution across nine local government areas.
