Peace and Friendship Stadium unveils 40-year development plan

The management of the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) has announced a 40-year development plan, which will be presented at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) from September 5 to 13, 2026. The presentation will take place at the Ministry of Sports pavilion.

The plan includes a retrospective report on the transformations achieved since 2019, during which inactive facilities were revitalized, coastal areas were upgraded, and new revenue streams were established through partnerships and leases. Key improvements have focused on energy upgrades, security, and functionality.

A central component of this strategy is the long-term utilization of the main arena and its surrounding areas, aiming to transform the venue into one of the most modern stadiums in Europe to support Olympiacos and Greek sports.
