Peace dialogue held in Torino featuring Rami Elhanan and Bassam Aramin

Students from the ‘Rosario Livatino’ Presidio participated in a peace meeting at the Circolo dei Lettori in Torino. The event featured Rami Elhanan and Bassam Aramin, two men united by the shared loss of their daughters, Smadar and Abir, during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Rejecting violence and revenge, the two speakers shared a message of coexistence and mutual respect. The meeting allowed students to engage in private dialogue with the speakers and offered a moment of reflection on using shared tragedy to advocate for peace rather than hatred.
