Peaches and Four Heart‑Healthy Fruits Spotlighted for Vision, Heart and Digestion

Nutritionist Lovneet Batra explains that peaches are rich in beta‑carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A, supporting eye health, lowering LDL cholesterol and protecting skin. Their fiber, cellulose and pectin aid digestion and help prevent constipation.

Cardiologist David Min recommends four fruits—apples, avocados, blueberries (boronicat) and oranges—for cardiovascular protection. Apples supply fiber and antioxidants that reduce LDL cholesterol and improve blood pressure. Avocados provide monounsaturated fats and potassium, which lower bad cholesterol and support healthy blood pressure. Blueberries contain anthocyanins that improve arterial elasticity and raise HDL cholesterol. Oranges offer flavanones that lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol profiles and reduce inflammation. Together, regular consumption of these fruits can help lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
