Peacock greenlights Assassins reality series produced by Scarlett Johansson
Peacock has greenlit a new unscripted reality competition series titled Assassins. The show is inspired by the popular campus elimination game often played in high schools and colleges.
Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson will serve as an executive producer for the project. She will work alongside Brien Meagher and Rhett Bachner, the co-founders of B17 Entertainment, which is a division of Sony Pictures Television.
The series premise involves contestants being assigned a specific target to eliminate before the season concludes. However, the game features a dual mechanic where every hunter is also being hunted by another player, requiring strategic alliances and deception to survive.
