Peacock greenlights new competition series Get Me Out of Here

Peacock has greenlit a new competition series titled ‘Get Me Out of Here’ (working title), produced by ITV America. The show is scheduled to air in 2027.

Co-hosted by Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch, the series is an updated take on the global format ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’. The premise involves pairing celebrities with a non-famous friend or family member in a dense jungle environment. Participants must endure physical and psychological challenges while stripped of the luxuries typically associated with celebrity status. The duos must rely on their relationships to navigate the environment and avoid elimination, with a $100,000 grand prize at stake.

Executive producers for the project include David George, David Eilenberg, and Jordana Hochman. The series is based on the international format created by Lifted Entertainment and distributed by ITV Studios.
