Peacock releases trailer for ‘The Paper’ Season 2

Peacock has released the official trailer for the second season of ‘The Paper’, a mockumentary sitcom spin-off of ‘The Office’. The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 9, 2026, with all 10 episodes available for streaming at once.

Following their success at the Ohio Journalism Awards, the staff of the Toledo Truth-Teller faces new professional and personal challenges. The plot follows Ned, played by Domhnall Gleeson, as he investigates a local private club, a crusade that threatens the stability of the newspaper. Character arcs include Ned and Mare navigating a developing relationship, while Esmeralda seeks her place within the team.

The series is created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. Returning cast members include Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, and Gbemisola Ikumelo, with Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as Oscar Martinez from the original series.
