YouTube to Add Peacock Streaming for US Premium Subscribers in 2027
NBCUniversal and Google’s YouTube announced a partnership on July 27, 2026 that will embed Peacock’s ad‑supported tier into YouTube Premium for eligible U.S. subscribers beginning early 2027. The deal also extends the existing multi‑year distribution agreement with YouTube TV. Peacock, which recently turned a profit and has about 48 million U.S. subscribers, will become available to the more than 125 million worldwide YouTube Premium members at no extra charge. The bundle gives Premium users access to Peacock’s full catalogue – including live NFL and NBA games, Universal films, and flagship series such as Love Island USA, Saturday Night Live and Law & Order SVU. The arrangement was discussed after a meeting between Comcast Chairman Brian Roberts and YouTube CEO Neal Mohan and includes NBC Sports serving as production partner for select live events streamed on YouTube.
