Peak climbing game expands to consoles and Switch 2
The cooperative climbing game Peak is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22. Developed by Aggro Crab and Landfall, the console editions will feature full crossplay capabilities, allowing players to team up across different platforms.
In Peak, players control scouts attempting to scale a mountain on a mysterious island to secure rescue. The gameplay emphasizes cooperation, requiring players to assist one another with ropes, food, and climbing gear while navigating four distinct biomes. The game features a rotating map that changes every 24 hours and includes survival mechanics where injuries can permanently reduce a character's maximum health.
The console release includes all content updates previously released for the PC version. A physical edition for the PlayStation 5 has also been announced.
