Pearl Abyss unveils Black Desert Online’s new Agent class at Heidel Ball

Pearl Abyss celebrated the 10th anniversary of Black Desert Online (BDO) with a fan‑focused event called the Heidel Ball in Irvine, California. Around 400 players attended the gathering, which featured announcements for the game’s future roadmap.

The headline announcement was the introduction of BDO’s 32nd playable class, Agent (Edward Henry Canary), the younger brother of the existing class Deadeye. Agent is a hybrid fighter who uses a revolver, tactical grenades and a special “hexround” projectile, offering both melee and ranged combat. The class will feature two progression paths—Succession and Awakening—starting at level 56.

Early access to the Agent class is slated for 29 July, with a global PC launch expected shortly thereafter. The event also highlighted other upcoming content, including new territories and end‑game challenges, as part of the anniversary celebration.
