Pearl Diver Credit reports Q2 2026 recovery in net asset value

Pearl Diver Credit Company Inc. (PDCC) reported a recovery in its second quarter 2026 financial results, driven by improved liquidity and valuations in the CLO equity market. The company’s net asset value per share rose 6.4% to $11.15 as of June 30, up from $10.48 at the end of March.

Net assets increased to $77.3 million, with a net increase from operations of $8.5 million, or $1.26 per share. This marks a significant turnaround from the $22.5 million net loss reported in the first quarter. The recovery was supported by $6.7 million in net unrealized gains on investments, reversing previous unrealized losses.

CEO Indranil Basu noted that CLO equity secondary-market activity strengthened in May, with approximately $1.9 billion in trading recorded. However, Basu cautioned that this market-driven improvement over a single quarter should not necessarily be viewed as a long-term trend.
