PECC2 executives arrested amid leadership restructuring

The leadership of Power Engineering Consulting JSC 2 (PECC2) has undergone significant changes following the arrest of top executives. In May 2026, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency initiated criminal proceedings and detained Chairman of the Board Nguyễn Chơn Hùng and Chief Accountant Bùi Thị Ngọc Lý.

Following these developments, PECC2 announced leadership restructuring. Nguyễn Chơn Hùng was dismissed from his position on June 30, 2026, with Phạm Liên Hải appointed as the new Chairwoman. Additionally, Bùi Thị Ngọc Lý was removed from her role as Chief Accountant, and Nguyễn Trung Khang was appointed as Head of the Supervisory Board.

Despite the legal investigations, PECC2 reported strong financial performance for the first half of 2026. The company's net revenue reached 682 billion VND, a 32% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Consolidated after-tax profit rose by 210% to 102 billion VND. As of June 30, 2026, total assets stood at 4,630 billion VND, a 55% increase from the beginning of the year.
