Pecco Bagnaia cites lack of grip as Ducati struggles at German MotoGP
Double MotoGP world champion Pecco Bagnaia warned that his Ducati bike lacks grip on the Sachsenring circuit, describing the German Grand Prix as “like riding on ice.” The problem forced him to the Q1 session after qualifying only 13th, and he said four different set‑ups failed to improve the handling, pointing to a likely electronic issue.
Bagnaia’s difficulties follow a string of technical setbacks that have cost him more than 40 championship points this season, including brake problems in Assen and other mechanical failures that have dropped him to eighth place, 63 points behind leader Jorge Martín. He remains hopeful of recovering the deficit in upcoming races.
