Pecco Bagnaia undergoes successful arm surgery ahead of British MotoGP

Ducati Lenovo rider Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia underwent an endoscopic fasciotomy on his right arm at the Policlinico Orthopedic Clinic in Modena, Italy. The procedure was led by Professor Luigi Tarallo with supervision by Professor Fabio Catani and reported no complications.

Bagnaia has entered a rehabilitation phase and aims to be fit for the MotoGP British round at Silverstone, scheduled for 7‑9 August 2026. He currently sits eighth in the championship standings after a challenging first half of the season and is seeking a performance resurgence.

The rider is also set to leave Ducati for Aprilia Racing starting in the 2027 MotoGP season.
