Torino court modifies house arrest for entrepreneur in attempted murder case

The Surveillance Court of Turin has modified the house arrest conditions for a 39-year-old entrepreneur investigated for attempted murder. The man is now permitted to return to his construction businesses and communicate with professional contacts, such as suppliers, though he must remain under house arrest.

The case stems from an incident in late August in Lungo Po Antonelli, where the entrepreneur allegedly chased two youths on a scooter with his SUV after they snatched a necklace from him. During the pursuit, he reportedly rammed the scooter, causing the riders to fall, and subsequently assaulted a 17-year-old. One of the youths remains in a coma due to injuries sustained during the collision.
