Pedestrian injured in Charata crash; wheel sparks highway accident near Leones
A traffic collision late Friday night on Sarmiento Street in Charata, Argentina, left a 61‑year‑old woman with serious injuries after a 150 cc blue Zanella motorcycle, driven by a 23‑year‑old resident of Barrio Malvinas Argentinas, struck her. The victim suffered a luxofracture of her left foot and minor abrasions and was taken by ambulance to Hospital 4 de Junio for further evaluation. In a separate incident on the Córdoba‑Rosario highway near Leones, a truck wheel that had fallen onto the road caused a van and a truck to collide with it. The accident occurred around 23:45 on Friday, June 12. All occupants escaped without injuries and declined hospital transport. Volunteer firefighters and highway police secured the area and conducted safety checks before clearing the road.
