Pediatric medical conferences announced in Moldova and Romania

Medical professionals in Moldova and Romania are engaging in specialized pediatric research and education through upcoming international and national conferences.

In Moldova, the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy is hosting the second edition of the “Pediatrics Without Borders” international conference in Chișinău. Featured research includes a study on a rare bronchial anomaly involving total stenosis of the right upper lobe bronchus in a child.

In Romania, the third National Conference of the Romanian Society of Pediatrics is scheduled for September 16–19 in Poiana Brașov. The event expects over 550 participants and features 49 speakers across 21 sessions and four “Meet the Experts” workshops. The conference is organized in collaboration with four major Romanian medical universities: Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Iuliu Hațieganu University in Cluj-Napoca, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Craiova, and the George Emil Palade University in Târgu Mureș.
