Pediatric medical recoveries reported in Argentina and Mexico

Two separate medical cases involving young children have been reported. In Tucumán, Argentina, a one-year-old girl is recovering after a pitbull attack on September 24. Following a three-and-a-half-hour reconstructive facial surgery performed by surgeons Martín Sánchez and Martín Hilal, the child has been moved from intensive care to a general ward at the Hospital del Niño Jesús. She remains clinically stable but requires ongoing nutritional support, neurological monitoring, and motor and speech therapy.

In Mexico, a young girl named Yoana is receiving treatment at the IMSS in Monterrey after complications from a splenectomy performed at the Hospital Country de Guadalajara. Although the surgery was successful, she developed sepsis, which threatened her vital organs. While her condition has stabilized and she no longer requires oxygen, her family is seeking public assistance to cover a 290,000 peso debt remaining from the private hospital after medical complications increased the total bill to approximately 600,000 pesos.
