Pedri celebrates 50 caps and discusses Spain squad future

Spanish midfielder Pedri has reached a milestone of 50 international caps for the national team. Following a victory against England at Wembley, the 23-year-old Barcelona player expressed his ambition to continue winning with a young generation of players, noting that revalidating titles is the most difficult challenge.

Amidst these celebrations, discussions regarding the squad's composition have emerged. Pedri has reportedly supported Alberto Moleiro as a potential candidate to join the national team, particularly if Nico Williams' position becomes available. While Williams remains a key talent, manager Luis de la Fuente is reportedly evaluating options due to recent performances. Moleiro is viewed as a technical alternative who offers a different profile, focusing on playmaking and connection in tight spaces, which could complement players like Pedri and Lamine Yamal.
