Pedro Acosta wins first MotoGP race at Austrian Grand Prix

Pedro Acosta secured his first MotoGP victory at the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, riding for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. After a difficult Saturday sprint race where he crashed, Acosta delivered an impressive performance on Sunday to claim the top spot on the podium.

Jorge Martín finished second for Aprilia, extending his lead in the championship to 12 points over Marc Márquez, who finished fifth. Márquez reported technical difficulties with his front brake during the race, which nearly led him to retire. Marco Bezzecchi completed the podium in third place.
