Pedro Almodóvar's Top Eight Films Ranked
Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, now 76, released his new film "Bitteres Fest" at the Munich Film Festival in late June. Over a career of more than 40 movies, he has earned major awards, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe for "All About My Mother" in 2000 and a Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice Film Festival for "The Room Next Door".
A German-language ranking lists his eight best films based on IMDb scores. The list includes "Live Flesh" (1997) with a 7.3 rating from roughly 36,000 votes, "Bad Education" (2004) with a 7.4 rating from about 66,000 votes, and "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" (1988) with a 7.5 rating from around 51,000 votes, among others.
