Pedro Ariel and MC Billeta release tribute to Los Prisioneros' classic

Chilean bassist Pedro Ariel, known from the band Sinergia, has issued a new single that reinterprets the 1980s anthem “El Baile de los que sobran” by Los Prisioneros. He partnered with rap artist MC Billeta to blend rock and hip‑hop, aiming to modernise the song’s message about inequality and exclusion. The collaboration is part of Ariel’s upcoming EP, which will also feature other singles such as “La Libertad que yo Merezco” and “Circo”.

The release highlights Ariel’s ongoing effort to merge classic Chilean rock with contemporary urban sounds, while Billeta contributes rapid‑fire verses that bridge past and present musical styles.
