Pedro de la Rosa discusses Formula 1 challenges and Aston Martin performance

Former Formula 1 driver and Aston Martin ambassador Pedro de la Rosa has commented on the current challenges facing Spanish fans and the performance of Aston Martin drivers. He noted that the current season under new regulations has been particularly difficult for Spanish supporters, who are accustomed to the high levels of success seen during the eras of Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz.

Regarding team performance, De la Rosa defended Lance Stroll, stating that when the car functions correctly, Stroll possesses speed comparable to Fernando Alonso. Analyzing telemetry data, De la Rosa argued that Stroll is extremely fast across various types of corners, though he noted that the Canadian driver sometimes struggles with consistency during qualifying sessions, which can compromise entire race weekends.
