Pedro Escobedo expands municipal fleet with new patrol units

The government of Pedro Escobedo has expanded its municipal fleet to strengthen security, civil protection, and public services. Mayor Beto Nava Cruz announced the delivery of six new patrol units for the Secretariat of Public Security, an ambulance for Civil Protection, a passenger bus for educational transport, and a crane for public services.

The patrol units were acquired using resources from the Fund for the Strengthening of Municipalities (FORTAMUN). The mayor noted that the municipal fleet has grown from two operational patrol units at the start of his administration to 30 currently. Additionally, local police have received a 10% salary increase and new benefits, including life insurance and a savings fund. Plans are also underway to introduce 16 members of the Civic Guard and open a new security module in Escolásticas in December.
