Pedro Haces Lago registers for Tlalpan political leadership role

Morena local deputy Pedro Haces Lago, known as ‘El Gallo de Tlalpan’, has officially announced his registration to participate in his party's internal process. He is seeking to become the next Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation in the Tlalpan borough.

Speaking before a crowd of supporters, Haces Lago emphasized the need for reconciliation, social justice, and increased opportunities within the region, which he described as ‘the sleeping giant of the south’. He stressed the importance of field work and direct engagement with citizens to address local needs, stating that ‘knowledge enters through the feet’ and that leadership should not be exercised from a desk.

Accompanied by local deputies Alberto Vanegas Arenas and Luis Chávez García, Haces Lago called for greater unity and inclusion across the borough to unlock its full potential.
