Pedro Henrique Sales jailed for gym sexual assault in Feira de Santana

Pedro Henrique Sales, a 21‑year‑old physical‑education student, was filmed masturbating while watching a neighbor in a condominium gym in Feira de Santana, Bahia. After the incident was recorded, he fled and remained at large for five days before police intercepted him in a construction house in Simões Filho. During the arrest he resisted, attempted to escape through nearby brush and threw debris at officers. He is now in preventive detention pending a custody hearing. The investigation, led by delegate Lorena Almeida, also examined whether family members assisted his evasion; his twin brother was cleared of wrongdoing but faced harassment and temporarily left his job. Residents of the condominium voted to expel Sales from the building.
